The super simple, no-fuss way to make sure all of your authors are covered.
Make it easier to budget by adding funds to your account upfront from which your authors’ costs will be paid.
Scholastica makes it possible for administrators to manage every aspect of institutional billing online, so you don't have to waste time doing paperwork. From your Scholastica account, you can:
There is a per-journal cost to subsidize law review submissions for authors at your institution. See pricing details for the current cost.
A submission is when an author submits a single manuscript to a single law review. For example, if an author submits one manuscript to 5 law reviews, the total submission fee would be 5 times the current cost per submission (see current cost per submission here).
Over 700 law reviews use Scholastica to receive articles and manage article selection. Setting up an institutional account is the fastest and easiest way to subsidize submissions to those law reviews for faculty at your university.
By signing up for an institutional account, you can pay submission fees on behalf of authors affiliated with your institution upfront rather than processing retroactive reimbursements.
After creating an account, you'll be asked to add a credit card for your institution and select a payment method. Payment methods include:
Automatic Invoicing: Your card will be automatically billed every month for any author submissions during that time frame. Learn more.
Pre-purchased Institutional Funds: Pre-purchase institutional funds and we will automatically deduct the appropriate amount from your total whenever your authors submit a manuscript. Learn more.
Your authors may submit to any journal currently accepting submission through Scholastica. Some of our journals include:
